Praise & Harmony singers perform a powerful a cappella cover of Firm Foundation (He Won’t).
Praise & Harmony is part of The Acappella Company, which has been around for decades making pure vocal Christian music. Keith Lancaster started the group years ago and they are known all over the world for teaching incredible four-part harmonies and helping regular everyday churches sing together better.
In this video they tackle a very popular modern worship song. Cody Carnes co-wrote Firm Foundation in 2021 with Austin Davis and Chandler Moore. The message of the song is exactly what we need right now. It reminds us that when we put our faith in Jesus we have a solid place to stand when our daily lives get chaotic and unpredictable.
In this video we see hundreds of singers raise their voices to proclaim the faithfulness of God. It is amazing how perfectly they blend their harmonies and it brings out the message of the song in a powerful way.
Jesus tells a story in Matthew 7 about two men building their houses. One builds on the sand and the other builds on the solid rock. Then a storm hits both of them. The wind blows hard and the rain pours down. The house on the sand completely collapses but the house on the rock stands firm. That rock for us is Jesus Christ.
We should not place our trust in the fading things of this world like money, career, or power, because all of that can disappear overnight. But if you build your foundation on Jesus Christ, you will withstand any storm in this life.
As Jesus said, “I am with you always, even to the end of the age.” What a beautiful promise. Let us grow in Him each day and stand on His promises.
