YouTube influencer couple, Shane Burcaw and Hannah Aylward are inspiring millions by documenting their interabled relationship.
They have been sharing on their channel Squirmy and Grubs for the last 4 years before they finally got married on September 4.

Hannah Burcaw has been mistaken as her husband’s nurse more times than she can remember as Shane has a disability while his wife doesn’t. They are living proof that interabled couples do exist and love is possible for them too.
Shane has spinal muscular atrophy, a genetic disorder that causes his muscles to waste away over time, but his wonderful personality and sense of humor drew Hannah to him. When she saw him in an interview on YouTube, she emailed him and after that, they started dating for two years before Shane moved from Pennsylvania to Minnesota to live with her.
Together they run popular YouTube channel Squirmy and Grubs, where they share how they navigate life together. They show fans how they interact with everyday tasks; go on road trips, visit beaches, and enjoy amusement parks.
Recently after they revealed that they had got married on September 4, they received an outpouring of support and congratulatory messages, but a section of netizens criticized them calling it a “joke” and “photo shopped” business.
Hannah Burcaw however, responded firmly to the trolls saying, “Although it’s taken time, I’m able to completely dismiss people like this,” Hannah wrote on Instagram. “Shane and I continue to make content and share our story with the hopes of showing as many people as we can that disabled people are worthy partners. Comments like these only encourage us to continue! We’re so grateful for all of the people that our story has managed to reach in a positive way.”
