Everybody goes through their ups and downs in life and just when you’re feeling like God is not hearing our prayers, be rest assured that He is always there with us, His word says in Isaiah 52:12, “For the Lord will go ahead of you; yes, the God of Israel will protect you from behind.”
Talk show host and television star, Steve Harvey, is living proof of it as his daytime talk show “Steve” (formerly “Steve Harvey”) which had a successful run on NBC for 7 years, but now it seems like it his show is being replaced with “The Kelly Clarkson Show.”
Even though he is facing disappointment in life, he is not allowing it to steal his joy in God as he he wrote “They gon’ close the door on me in 2019,” he begins. “All that means for me is God has another door for me to open.”
He goes on to write, “I’ve learned to accept God’s will and understand that everything that happens to me, happens to me for my good and my betterment,” he says. “Because the God I serve didn’t bring me this far to leave me.”
These are such faith-filled words and we know for sure that God does have something very good in store for Steve and we agree with what he says in the end, “Why would God lift you to the height that he got you, just to see you fall? That’s not the God we serve.”
