Teachers at a Northern Kentucky school district received a sweet gesture of kindness from a complete stranger. The anonymous donor gave all 143 teachers in the district $100 each with a purpose to buy school supplies, for a total of $14,300.
Every year the teachers are struggling to buy classroom supplies. They often use their own money to fulfill the needs. But this year, the teachers were surprised and touched by a stranger’s act of kindness.
It all started with an anonymous phone call.
“She (the donor) said, ‘I just want to do something to show teachers that there are people out there that,’ this is a quote, ‘that have their back, and support them in what they do every day for students, and then recognize that they give so much more than they are compensated,'”
