Home Free Presents ‘Tennessee Christmas’

Popular a cappella group Home Free featuring Rachel Wammack performs a stunning rendition of ‘Tennessee Christmas’.

Come on weather man give us a forecast snoowy white
Can’t you hear the prayers of every childlike heart tonight
Rockies are callin’, Denver snow fallin’
Somebody said it’s four feet deep, but it doesn’t matter
Give me the laughter, I’m gonna choose to keep

‘Tennessee Christmas’ was written by Christian singer Amy Grant and Gary Chapman. It was first released in 1983 through Grant’s first Christmas album ‘A Christmas Album’.

Another tender Tennessee Christmas, the only Christmas for me
Where the love circles around us like the gifts around our tree
Well I know there’s more snow up in Colorado than my roof will ever see
But a tender Tennessee Christmas is the only Christmas for me

The vocal quintet Home Free and the country music singer/songwriter Rachel Wammack singing ‘Tennessee Christmas’ is absolutely beautiful. There is something about this group singing harmonies that always bring on the chill bumps. And hearing them sing ‘Tennessee Christmas’ is perfect for this season. Who else is singing along?

Verse of the Day

“[Glory in the Highest] Now there were in the same country shepherds living out in the fields, keeping watch over their flock by night. And behold, an angel of the Lord stood before them, and the glory of the Lord shone around them, and they were greatly afraid. Then the angel said to them, “Do not be afraid, for behold, I bring you good tidings of great joy which will be to all people. For there is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.”

Luke 2:8-11
