Talented Violinist Plays Beautiful Rendition Of ‘Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus’

Talented violinist Tary Harbridge plays a melodious cover of ‘Tis So Sweet To Trust In Jesus,’ a gentle reminder to all of us facing turbulent times.

Tis so sweet to trust in Jesus,
Just to take Him at His Word
Just to rest upon His promise,
Just to know, “Thus saith the Lord!

Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus hymn story

‘Tis So Sweet to Trust in Jesus’ is a Christian hymn whose music was composed by William J. Kirkpatrick with lyrics written by Louisa M. R. Stead in 1882. They appeared in Stead’s Songs of Triumph and has been included in many hymnals and been covered by many artists around the world.

Jesus, Jesus, how I trust Him!
How I’ve proved Him o’er and o’er
Jesus, Jesus, precious Jesus!
Oh, for grace to trust Him more!

This song is perfect for many of us who are experiencing a dry season in our spiritual lives today. Jesus has redeemed us from sin and sickness and all we need to do is full trust Him and surrender ourselves completely to Him.

Absolutely Beautiful. I never really had a love of the Violin but over the past few years I have come to enjoy it along with the Piano and especially the Cello. Awesome Job Tary Harbridge.

Very uplifting, if only I was able to hear the violin it would have been perfect.

Verse of the Day

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. — Isaiah 53:3-4 (NIV)
