A toddler had one very important question for her 2-week-old sister, and she was not leaving without an answer.

There is something about watching little kids interact with babies that just gets you. They have no filter. No social awareness. They walk up to a newborn and expect a full conversation. And most of the times it gives us a reason to smile.
In a clip posted on social media, a toddler walked right up to her 2-week-old sister and asked her point blank. Do you want to be my friend? Not later. Not eventually. Right now.
She needed to know if this was going to be a real friendship or if they were just going to be two people who happen to live in the same house. The girl was serious.
The baby just lay there. No reaction. No sound. Not even a wiggle. You could tell she was not impressed.
The whole thing is hilarious, but it also hits you a little. That little girl already wants her sister close. She already wants to know she matters to her. God puts that in us. That pull toward each other. That need to belong to someone. We all have it.
“A friend loves at all times, And a brother is born for adversity.” (Proverbs 17:17)
