Kids are always thrilled to receive gifts on their birthdays and at Christmas, and it’s a joy to watch their excited expressions. However, for one mother, the reaction she got from her son was far from what she expected.
Finlay was turning 3 years old, and his family had gone all out to celebrate, showering him with birthday gifts.
His mom, Lauren Strafford, eagerly anticipated seeing Finlay’s joyful face as he came downstairs to open his presents.
But as he entered the living room, tears began streaming down his cheeks at the sight of the gifts. Overwhelmed with emotion, he exclaimed, “Mom, I can’t believe it! No way—there are lots and lots of presents!”
