A bride and groom turned their wedding into a worship service with a surprise flash mob choir performance of Baba Yetu (The Lord’s Prayer).
Many weddings today are all about parties and celebrations. We spend months planning the perfect dress, the flowers, and the reception. But sometimes we forget what truly matters in a wedding.
When a man and woman make vows, they are making a covenant not only with each other but also with God to love each other as Christ did for His church.
That is why God should be at the center of every wedding. This beautiful couple knew this already, and they decided to honor Him with a worship flash mob.
The video shows the couple facing their guests with their wedding party standing beside them. When the music starts, the groom begins singing first. Then the bride joins in, followed by a whole choir.
As they walk down the aisle, all the guests stand and join them in worship by clapping their hands.
Many people felt moved by the short video. One viewer wrote, “Congratulations, and what a beautiful way to honour God at your wedding!”
