After one of the hardest years of Fort McMurray, WestJet surprised hundreds of residents with a special Christmas eve by throwing them all a party and gifting them with free flights. Communities were invited to the Snowflake Soiree to have an evening of food and drink, music and crafts. More over they joined to sing carols outside when tiny parachutes started raining from the sky. Inside each little package was a memento Christmas ornament and a WestJet ticket. Be prepared to smile through your tears with this one.
