So many people are looking for a reason to smile online today and this video from Little Big Shots of a 5 year old church girl praying for Steve Harvey is bringing joy to many.

When I watched this little girl named Natalie Green from South Carolina walk onto that stage, my heart just filled up with so much happiness. She did not care about the bright lights or the big television cameras. She was just a happy little girl who loved Jesus and she brought a beautiful, bubbly energy that completely filled the entire studio.
The Little Girl with a Big Smile
Natalie first became an internet sensation when she was only four years old. Her mother recorded a video of her praying and shouting, “We don’t want no devils in our house, God! We want the Lord!.” That sweet home video got so popular on Instagram that even big secular music stars noticed it.
When she sat down next to Steve Harvey, she looked so tiny on that big couch. You could see the host laughing right from the start because her bright personality was just completely infectious.
A Bold and Funny Confrontation
The most delightful part of the interview happened when this little girl looked right at Steve and told him that she was going to pray for him to stop using bad language.
We all know that television stars can use some rough words sometimes. Steve tried to laugh it off and explain that he never uses bad words around children, but Natalie just smiled and did not care about his excuses at all.
She kept the whole room laughing with her infectious energy and humor.
Then the mood shifted into something truly beautiful. Steve asked her if she would say a prayer for him before she left the stage. Natalie agreed but she looked him right in the eye and told him he had to get down on his knees first.
5-Year-Old Prays for Steve Harvey
So many people in Hollywood are too proud to bow their heads. But this joyful little five year old girl made a grown superstar get right down on the floor of that stage. She put her hand on his shoulder, told everyone in the room to close their eyes, and she started talking to God with total sincerity.
“Father God, I just thank you for Mr. Steve Harvey. God, you bless him, hope he stop cursing in the name of Jesus. God, you bless Mr. Steve Harvey, God, you bless his family, God, you bless Miss Marjorie… Everybody say, ‘Amen!'”
I was so moved by that prayer because even though the segment was full of laughter, her prayer was completely serious. She just asked God to protect a man’s heart and bless his family.
Steve Harvey was so touched by her sweetness and boldness that he told the audience he had interviewed the President of the United States before but he had never seen anyone like this precious little girl.
It is a timeless truth that God chooses a person irrespective of their age or background to do greater things for His kingdom. We can see this fact throughout the Bible.
When the Apostle Paul wrote a letter to the young pastor Timothy he encouraged him to be an example to the believers around him.
“Let no one despise your youth, but be an example to the believers in word, in conduct, in love, in spirit, in faith, in purity.” — 1 Timothy 4:12 (NKJV)
If a five year old girl can boldly share her faith on national television then we have no excuses left. Let us take this as a personal call to boldly share our faith wherever we are today.
