Adorable 7-Month-Old Girl Has Priceless Reaction To Hearing Her Parents’ Voices For The Very First Time

Aida Little in Rochester, Minnesota, recently received the ability to hear for the first time in her life, which has elated her parents and her.

Aida was born with Waardenburg syndrome, which is a condition that “can cause hearing loss and changes in coloring of the hair, skin, and eyes,” according to the National Institutes of Health. It affects 1 in 40,000 people in the world.

“This was a big surprise to my family, and it’s been difficult coping with everything going on,” her parents wrote in the voice of Aida on a GoFundMe page to pay for medical treatment.

Aida said, “My mommy and daddy have been taking me to many appointments since I arrived into this world, and it’s only going to get busier .. and more expensive!”

At just 7 months of age,  Aida got a cochlear implant from The Mayo Clinic which enabled her to hear the voices of her parents.

The video of the moment when Aida heard her mom and dad’s voices for the first time in her life will melt your heart.

“November 13th, I heard my very FIRST words, and it was a joyous time shared by all,” her GoFundMe read.

Aida broke into smiles at the very sound of her parents’ voices and the happiness on her face will melt the toughest of souls. As her parents told her hello, she looked back at them bewildered.

It was if she could believe her very ears that she was finally hearing the voices of her father and mother so clearly for the first time.

Her parents told her how much they loved her, which meant a lot to her as she reaches out to her parents’ mouth as if she can’t believe the sounds that were coming from them.

“We know that God is a miracle worker, and we are praying that He takes full control over our situation we are in, and uses it in whatever ways He sees fit,” Aida’s parents commented.

We pray for Aida and her speedy recovery, and also for God to provide all the finances required for her treatment.
