A boy named JJ stood in front of his church congregation for the holiday program. He is only two and a half years old. He held a guitar in his hands and prepared to lead the group in music.

JJ sang the song ‘10,000 Reasons (Bless the Lord)’. Matt Redman wrote this song in 2011 to help people focus on the many blessings God provides. The lyrics encourage us to worship the holy name of the Lord at all times.

The little boy acted like a seasoned performer while he played. He sang the words clearly and strummed his instrument for the audience. He showed great confidence for such a small child.

The video of his performance became very popular online. It has been watched over 14 million times on YouTube alone.

Verse of the Day

“For the Lord Himself will descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of an archangel, and with the trumpet of God. And the dead in Christ will rise first. Then we who are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds to meet the Lord in the air. And thus we shall always be with the Lord.”

1 Thessalonians 4:16-17
