A group of young university dancers delivers a moving Christian worship dance set to the hit song Rescue by Lauren Daigle.
The BYU Cougarettes are a famous team from Brigham Young University in Utah. They started way back in 1946 as a marching group. Over the decades they grew into one of the finest dance teams in America with over twenty national titles to their name. Coach Jodi Maxfield helped shape them into what they are today.
These young women chose to dance to the song Rescue by Lauren Daigle. Paul Mabury and Jason Ingram wrote this beautiful song with her back in 2018.
The message is simple and sweet. It reminds us that when we feel helpless or lost in life God sends His comfort to find us. He hears our quiet prayers when nobody else notices.
As I watched them dance I could not stop smiling. All the dancers dressed in simple white outfits taking the stage together. They moved as one body with so much grace.
We all face lonely times in this long life. My heart warmed up seeing these young people use their talents to share such a clean encouraging message. They remind us that we are never forgotten and God always keeps watch over His children.
