We all have talents that God gave us. Sometimes we wonder how He might use our skills to serve Him. These two sisters show us that God can use any gift to reach people and spread joy.

A TV Interview Takes an Unexpected Turn

Sisters Marizele Cassiano and Marisa de Paula were talking about their work on Brazil’s Pai Eterno TV channel. They belong to the Copiosa Redenção congregation and help organize retreats for women who want to become nuns.

During their interview, they mentioned a song about being called to serve God.

The Beatboxing Nuns

What happened next shocked everyone watching. Sister Cassiano grabbed the microphone and started singing the words “vocation to love and serve ohhhh.” Then she began beatboxing.

Sister de Paula jumped up and started dancing with moves that left viewers amazed. Even the show host, Deacon Giovani Bastos, got up and joined their dance.

The whole thing was not planned at all. Sister Cassiano told The Associated Press what really happened.

“That moment was very spontaneous, because with Sister Marisa, if you start a beat, she will dance. And I’m used to singing, to beatboxing, so for us it was very simple, spontaneous and at the same time very surprising to see that it went viral even outside Brazil.”

Their Real Mission

The sisters do more than entertain people. They work with young people who struggle with drug addiction. Music plays a big part in how they help these hurting souls find hope again.

Sister Cassiano explained how they use their talents. “Beatboxing, dancing, and the songs itself, are tools that God uses to reach the hearts of the people we work with. And it works! It’s beautiful to see.”

Before joining the convent, Sister Cassiano used to beatbox with her friends just for fun. Now she uses this skill to break the ice with people in recovery programs. She said this helps her live out her mission and calling.

Going Viral Around the World

Since the video went viral, Sister Cassiano gained over 100,000 followers on Instagram. She has appeared on other TV shows and even performed with singer Danilo Dyba on a special program about spreading the gospel through music.

This story shows us that God can use our unique gifts in ways we never expect. When we offer what we have to Him, He can touch hearts and change lives through us.
