Oceans (Where Feet May Fail) was written by Matt Crocker, Joel Houston, and Salesi Nyström and released by Hillsong United in 2013. The song quickly became one of the most recognized worship anthems worldwide.

The song talks about trusting God when things feel scary or uncertain. It’s based on the story of Peter walking on water to reach Jesus.

The lyrics tell us to keep our eyes on Jesus, especially when we step into situations that feel way bigger than we can handle on our own.

Luke Silva is a street performer who has nearly 2 million followers on YouTube. In his videos, he invites strangers to sing with him. He also teams up with other street performers. And many of his performances have millions of views.

In this performance, Bethany Webster joins him for a duet of Oceans.

In the video, Silva and Webster stand on a street corner and sing together. Their performance stops many people in their tracks while some keep walking past.

But what matters most is that they’re sharing the good news about Jesus right there in public.

Their voices blend together so well, their performance turns the street into a church-like atmosphere.

Verse of the Day

“[The Way, the Truth, and the Life] “Let not your heart be troubled; you believe in God, believe also in Me. In My Father’s house are many mansions; if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again and receive you to Myself; that where I am, there you may be also.”

John 14:1-3
