Candace Cameron Bure opens up about her fears that try to pull her back and how she overcomes them through her trust in God.

Many of us have stood in a hallway or sat in a meeting feeling like the only person who doesn’t belong. You look around at the people near you and just assume they have a level of wisdom or talent that you could never reach.
Candace faces this same internal pressure and she finally shared how she handles that specific anxiety.
Candace admitted that a “fear of failure is always, always running in my mind.” It’s a lie that many of us carry around every day. She mentioned that she looks at the people around her and thinks they are much smarter than she is. But she doesn’t let that thought just sit there and grow.
She explained that she views these discouraging moments as spiritual attacks. “I have to take that thought captive and literally throw it out,” she said. She actually tells those thoughts that they don’t get any space in her brain.
Candace isn’t trying to trick herself into thinking she’s a genius. She stays humble and remembers that if God opened the door for her, He is the one responsible for the outcome.
She shared, “God is more powerful than that, and if God has opened this door and has me here, then He can use me.”
When you start to feel like you aren’t good enough for the task in front of you, remember that He doesn’t call the qualified. He qualifies the called.
“He can use me no matter how intelligent or how many degrees I do or don’t have,” Candace Cameron Bure said.
