A Chick-fil-A manager in San Antonio walked away from the counter during a busy lunch hour and prayed over every single person in the restaurant.

We hear about God moving in churches or revival events. But a fast food restaurant? That’s not where most of us would expect it. And that’s exactly what happened at this San Antonio Chick-fil-A when a manager prayed over his customers there.

The manager walked right through the lobby of the Chick-fil-A, talking to diners while they ate. Some people were scrolling on their phones. Others were chatting with friends. He didn’t wait for the perfect moment. He just went for it.

He asked God to bring “a touch of heaven” into that room. He told people to “stick to God.” And he continued encouraging them like a seasoned preacher.

“You might think, oh, it’s just this big Mount Everest is coming down,” he said. “You’re trying to hold this rock up.” But his answer was simple. Give it to God. Stop carrying it alone.

“There’s nothing to worry about tomorrow. There’s nothing to worry about this day,” he told them. “Just give to God.”

He also made a point that really sticks with you. Trusting God when everything is fine, that’s easy enough. But trusting God in the darkness? That’s real faith. Those words hit different when you hear them from a guy in a work uniform on his shift, not a pastor behind a podium.

When he finished, several diners said “amen.” Some of them clapped.

Chick-fil-A has always been open about its Christian values. This manager didn’t just represent the brand. He lived it out boldly in front of a room full of strangers.

He didn’t know who needed to hear that message. Maybe someone in that lobby was going through the worst week of their life. Maybe someone had been quietly praying for a sign. We just don’t know.

But he stepped outside his professional role and became a servant of God right there in that dining room. If his words touched even one person that day, that’s enough.

We don’t need a podium or a pulpit to talk about God. We have opportunities everywhere and we just need to be willing to share what the Holy Spirit puts on our hearts.
