Dr. Jane Goodall’s exemplary work with chimpanzees has been praised all over the world, and now as she releases the 15th chimpanzee into the wild, in Tchindzoulou island it was a remarkable sight for all to see.
Chimpanzees have long been known to have human-like intelligence and are emotional creatures like human beings.
As she was releasing Wounda into the wild, she recalled the time when she was almost dying but by their efforts, the chimpanzee’s life was saved and it was one of the most extraordinary moments of Dr Goodall’s life.
Social media went into meltdown when Wounda was seen hugging Dr Goodall in the video, although Jane had just met Wounda, their connection was there for all to see.

And now abide faith, hope, love, these three; but the greatest of these is love. (1 Corinthians 13:13, NKJV)
