A woman kept singing her heart out to God even after the microphone died right as she began leading worship at church.

We come to church to give glory to God. But honestly so many things pull our attention away even inside those four walls. We sit in the pew and our mind drifts to something we forgot to do or something that happened earlier that week.
For the people up front leading worship it is even harder. If a microphone stops working or a monitor is too loud or something is not right on stage their whole focus shifts to that problem. The frustration sets in and suddenly they are not leading worship anymore. They are just trying to fix things.
But this young woman showed us what happens when you refuse to let anything pull you away from His presence.
She was part of the choir and she stepped up to start the song. Right as she opened her mouth, the microphone went dead. Most people would have stopped and waited for someone to fix it. She did not wait. She just kept singing to God like nothing happened and her powerful voice filled that whole room on its own. No speakers. No sound system. Just her voice and her faith in God.
The people in that room and those who watched the video later could all feel the Holy Spirit moving through that young woman.
When we come into His presence we should not let anything steal our focus. Maybe you have a lot of things on your mind today. Leave all of that at the door. Fix your eyes on God and worship Him with all your hearts. Because He is able to deliver you from the very things that are weighing you down.
Psalm 34:1 “I will bless the Lord at all times; His praise shall continually be in my mouth.”
