A Michigan couple was blessed with a baby daughter after having 14 sons. Kateri Schwandt and Jay welcomed daughter Maggie Jayne saying that she is the greatest gift they ever received.
“We are overjoyed and beyond excited to add Maggie Jayne to our family,” Jay, 45, said. “This year has been memorable in so many ways, for so many reasons, but Maggie is the greatest gift we could ever imagine.”
Maggie reportedly weighed 7 lbs., 8 oz., and got her name from a combination of her parents’ names,’ Kateri’s middle name is Margaret, while Jayne originates from Jay’s first name.
Kateri and Jay already have sons Tyler, Zach, Drew, Brandon, Tommy, Vinny, Calvan, Gabe, Wesley, Charlie, Luke, Tucker, Francisco, and Finley, who are aged 2½ to 28 years old. “My parents were finally blessed with the little girl they never thought they’d end up having. It’s been about 12 hours since my dad told us, and I still haven’t quite wrapped my mind around it,” Tyler, the oldest son said.
