Melanie Hartshorn has a rare genetic condition called Ehlers-Danlos Syndrome (EDS), which causes her joints to dislocate. It has left her bed-bound and in constant pain. But it couldn’t stop this 26-year-old from achieving her degree in Biology. This is the proud moment, Hartshorn attends the graduation ceremony on a stretcher and receives the honor surprising everyone.
“[Christ in Our Place] For when we were still without strength, in due time Christ died for the ungodly. For scarcely for a righteous man will one die; yet perhaps for a good man someone would even dare to die. But God demonstrates His own love toward us, in that while we were still sinners, Christ died for us.”
