A pet owner’s short video of her Shiba Inu bouncing with pure joy on a rainy walk is melting hearts across the internet.
We all have our own ways of expressing joy. Some people laugh out loud, some clap their hands, some just can’t stop smiling. God wired each of us and every creature He made to respond to happiness differently. And this little dog? She hops.
The clip shows a Shiba Inu hopping down a damp brick path toward the camera. Not trotting — actually hopping, like every step is something to celebrate.
The owner’s caption says, “I have the happiest dog in the whole world.” She adds that her dog “literally jumps for joy” every single time they go outside.
Even dodging puddles, that bounce never quits. By the end, the dog is right up close to the camera, ears up, eyes bright and absolutely thrilled to just be alive.
The owner says it best — its “happiness is actually contagious.” It truly is.
This little dog found pure joy in an ordinary rainy walk. We can learn something from that. God places small delights in our path every single day. We just have to notice them.
