I wrote this 4 years ago, in honor of my “adopted” Christian mom– “Mom G.”, the day after she lost her battle with cancer and went home to be with the Lord. My husband and I sang it at her memorial service, and it still brings tears to our eyes and sweet memories to our hearts whenever we sing it. What a blessing to record a video from it– remembering not only her, but something she always reminded me of– “God is in control”! If she were alive today, she’d be telling our fearful, anxious, world the same thing– but since she isn’t, I’m hoping this song will tell it for her– for us who sang it– for you who watch, listen, and hopefully meditate on its truth! Be encouraged– God IS in control, and that control is always good! đŸ™‚
