Back in 1972, Barbara Rieco wrote a children’s book, full of her dreams. Sadly, no publisher accepted it, and over time, Barbara stopped hoping to see her book in print.

Fast forward to this Christmas, and Barbara’s grandson, Chad Cooper, made something special happen. Chad, who works in design and production in New York City, found his grandmother’s old manuscript. He secretly turned it into a real book, complete with the original illustrations.

On Christmas morning, Barbara opened her gift from Chad. It was her book, finally printed. The moment was so special that Chad shared it on TikTok, where it touched many hearts around the world.
