Soul-Stirring A Cappella Cover of ‘Hear My Cry’ by Andrew Martin

Singer Andrew Martin performs a beautiful a cappella cover of ‘Hear My Cry.’

In the video, Andrew Martin sings all the harmonies of ‘Hear My Cry’ by recording each part individually. The performance creates a sweet tribute to this modern hymn.

The song came from a place of real pain. Michael Eldridge wrote ‘Hear My Cry’ in 2020 after his friend Larry Smith died.

Michael thought about how much grief Larry’s wife Cindy must have felt. Sadly, Cindy died just weeks after Larry, before Michael could share the song with her.

Andrew’s cover helps more people discover this powerful song. ‘Hear My Cry’ is still new, but it speaks to anyone walking through hard times.

When sorrow feels too heavy and words won’t come, we can remember that God hears every unspoken prayer.

The Holy Spirit takes our pain straight to the Father’s heart.

Verse of the Day

“Then I, John, saw the holy city, New Jerusalem, coming down out of heaven from God, prepared as a bride adorned for her husband. And I heard a loud voice from heaven saying, “Behold, the tabernacle of God is with men, and He will dwell with them, and they shall be His people. God Himself will be with them and be their God. And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.””

Revelation 21: 2-4
