‘In The Sweet By And By’ Cover By The Oak Ridge Boys

Several artists have already sung Dolly Parton’s ‘In The Sweet By And By.’ But The Oak Ridge Boys’ version was well-appreciated by many.

This country and gospel vocal quartet was founded in the 1940s. The beauty of their voices did not fade as time passed by. Duane, Joe, William, and Richard seem to enjoy singing still. It appeared that they were not performing. They were just enjoying what they love to do.

One of their followers wrote, “This is what I needed in helping me to start the year off. Thank you.” This video has more than 30K likes in YouTube, and it was just uploaded a couple of days ago.

Someone also wrote, “The voices are as fabulous as ever. God bless you, folks.” Many seem to enjoy the rich quality of their voices and the perfect harmony as well.

There’s a land that is fairer than day
And by faith, we can see it afar
For the Father waits over the way
To prepare us a dwelling place, there

In the sweet by and by
We shall meet on that beautiful shore
In the sweet by and by
We shall meet on that beautiful shore

This song reminds us that we will soon be reunited with God, our Father. He has already prepared heaven for us. We are meant to spend eternity with Him in paradise.

“So teach us to number our days that we may get a heart of wisdom.” Psalm 90:12
