No one is too far from the reach of God’s mercy. When the world gives up on us and labels us by our failures, God steps in with grace, calling us to hope, healing, and peace that never fades.

In a moving video shared by God Behind Bars, a group of inmates dressed in white can be seen gathered together inside the prison, hands raised, singing with all their hearts.

Their voices fill the room as they worship with passion and boldness. Despite the struggles they face and the reality of their surroundings, they worship the Heavenly Father with all their hearts.

The song ‘How Great Is Our God’ was written by Chris Tomlin in 2004 and has become a global anthem of worship. Its message declares the unmatched greatness of God and invites all creation to worship Him.

Seeing these men proclaim those words from a prison chapel brings the lyrics to life in a whole new way.

The video has deeply touched many viewers. One person commented, “How great is it to see them Praising God with hands lifted! God Bless them, and I have been uplifted and Blessed!!”

Another wrote, “Angels! Most people’s faith is circumstantial but not these guys. They get it. They are in the last place anyone would want to be and still praising.”

You might be facing a prison-like situation in your own life, feeling trapped with no way out. But God is a chain breaker.

Surrender your burdens to Him. He is able to lift you, restore you, and lead you into freedom.
