American Idol contestant Genavieve Linkowski sang a beautiful rendition of classic Christian hymn, ‘It Is Well.’

‘It Is Well’ reminds us that in every situation, both good and bad, we must never forget to thank God.

Genavieve Linkowski brings a message of hope at a point when the world needs it the most.

And through it all, through it all
My eyes are on You
And through it all, through it all
It is well

This is a Bethel version of the Classic Hymn, ‘It Is Well,’ written by Horatio Spafford and composed by Philip Bliss. Horatio wrote the words to this song after he lost all four of his daughters. He wrote this song to testify that God is with us in all situations in life.

Kristene DiMarco of Bethel Music has rewritten the lyrics of the original song in 2014 and today, American Idol contestant Genavieve Linkowski is singing this worship song which is just what we needed to hear.

So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
So let go my soul and trust in Him
The waves and wind still know His name
So let go my soul and trust in Him

As all of us are under lockdown and feeling anxious about what’s going to happen next, this song is just what we needed to hear today to calm us down and know that our Father in Heaven controls everything. We wish Genevieve Linkowski the best as she competes on American Idol.

Beautiful, angelic voice. May God bless her on her American Idol journey.

Verse of the Day

He was despised and rejected by mankind, a man of suffering, and familiar with pain. Like one from whom people hide their faces he was despised, and we held him in low esteem. Surely he took up our pain and bore our suffering, yet we considered him punished by God, stricken by him, and afflicted. — Isaiah 53:3-4 (NIV)
