Pastor John Hogenson had been leading the largest evangelical Lutheran congregations in the country when a tragedy struck his life. He was diagnosed with an inoperable brain tumor and was given a few months to live. He lost his ability to speak. but God still had plans for him. He miraculously got his voice back, surprising his doctors.
During the toughest part of his life, Pastor Hogenson spent his time to inspire others through the word of God. He shared his sermons online. After a 20-month battle with cancer, he passed away on Jan 4, 2017.
