9-Year-Old’s Incredible Impromptu Performance Of ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ At Ballpark

Marley McAninch is just 9-years-old. But she stunned everyone at a local game in California with a mind-blowing rendition of ‘The Star-Spangled Banner’.

Singing ‘The National Anthem’ is not an easy task. It’s one of the most difficult arrangements to hit every single note perfectly on pitch.

The iconic song was written by Francis Scott Key in 1814 during The War Of 1812. Despite British forces bombing Fort McHenry, the U.S. proved victorious in the battle.

The next day, Francis Scott noticed the American flag flying over the fort and he was inspired to pen down this special song.

“O! say can you see by the dawn’s early light,
What so proudly we hailed at the twilight’s last gleaming,
Whose broad stripes and bright stars through the perilous fight,
O’er the ramparts we watched, were so gallantly streaming?
And the rockets’ red glare, the bombs bursting in air,
Gave proof through the night that our flag was still there;
O! say does that star-spangled banner yet wave
O’er the land of the free and the home of the brave?”

When 9-years-old Marley McAninch was asked to perform the historic song at a local league game, she stepped in without hesitation and gave a stunning performance. Despite the fact that Marley just got a day to practice the song, she sung it like a professional and stunned everyone.

Marley’s rendition of ‘Star-Spangled Banner’ went viral and everyone is talking about her amazing vocals.
