A police officer’s viral video of three young men helping an elderly couple into their car touched the hearts of many.
Officer Kanesha Carnegie of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office in Bronson, Florida, was about to assist the couple. However, when she saw the three young men already helping them, she felt compelled to capture the moment on video.
The 100-year-old man was struggling to helping his 89-year-old wife, Rose Griest, into the car. Thankfully, the young men were nearby to assist.
Officer Kanesha was in a gas station parking lot in Williston when she noticed Rose Griest having difficulty getting back into the vehicle. Rose was with her husband when they stopped at the gas station so she could use the restroom.
However, the trip had tired her out so much that she struggled to get back into the car without assistance.
The three friends were identified as Joc Koe Stoe, Marty, and Freddy G. Officer Kanesha obtained their permission to record the heartwarming interaction, hoping others would be inspired by their compassionate act.
