A police officer’s viral video of three young men helping an elderly couple get into their car is winning praise from netizens for their act of kindness.
Officer Kanesha Carnegie of the Levy County Sheriff’s Office in Bronson, Florida, was about to assist the couple. However, when she saw the three young men already aiding them, she felt compelled to capture the moment on film.
The 100-year-old man was struggling to help his 89-year-old wife, Rose Griest, get into her car seat. Thankfully, the young men were nearby to assist. Officer Kanesha was in a gas station parking lot in Williston when she observed Rose Griest having difficulty re-entering her car. Rose was with her husband when they stopped at the gas station so she could use the restroom. However, the trip had tired Rose out so much that she found it hard to get back into the car without assistance.
The three friends were identified as Joc Koe Stoe, Marty, and Freddy G. Officer Kanesha obtained their permission to record the heartwarming interaction, hoping others would be inspired by their compassionate act.
