In June 2013, Heather lost her son Luka. He was just 7-months-old. The heartbroken mother decided to donate his organs. One of the recipients was a 4-year-old Jordan, who was born with a congenital heart defect. Doctors said she immediately needed a heart transplant and it was the only hope for the little girl. After spending the first two years in the hospital, Jordan received a life saving heart transplant with the help of Luka, the donor.
