Military families have to go through long periods of separation which can be especially hard on the children. Brandon Richards had been away from his family for the last six months on deployment with the Navy.
So when it was time for him to come home, his wife Elizabeth wanted to make it really special and memorable for their daughter after a six-month deployment in the Pacific.
Richards dressed up as the Beast from “Beauty and the Beast” and decided to have a special father-daughter dance with his little daughter who was all dressed up as a princess.
He did not stop at that, but also managed to surprise his son, Jax, with a stop by at his favorite doughnut shop, all is well that ended well.
