This Powerful Worship Cover of ‘Oceans’ Will Send Shivers Down Your Spine

A young woman and a street musician bring us to worship with a soulful rendition of ‘Oceans’ by Hillsong United.

Oceans street performance

Luke Silva, an Italian-Brazilian singer and songwriter known in London’s busking scene, teamed up with this unknown singer for a performance that quickly turned from ordinary to extraordinary.

At the start, the woman seemed nervous. Her voice even trembled. But as soon as she sang, “I will call upon the name YAHWEH!!!”, the atmosphere transformed. Her nervousness gave way to a powerful worship session that moved everyone watching.

A viewer aptly wrote, “There’s a huge difference between just performing a song and singing it to God.” This young woman did more than sing; she poured her heart out in worship, making every word count.

The performance touched many hearts. One YouTube user said, “God Bless you both for ministering so beautifully!!! Keep on Keeping on, and giving God the Glory due unto His name, as you draw others to Christ Jesus!!!”

Like the young woman, let’s use our talents to honor God. Every talent, big or small, carries His blessings. Let us shine our light for the world, showcasing His love and glory.

Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.” – Matthew 5:16 (KJV)

Verse of the Day

“[The Humbled and Exalted Christ] Let this mind be in you which was also in Christ Jesus, who, being in the form of God, did not consider it robbery to be equal with God, but made Himself of no reputation, taking the form of a bondservant, and coming in the likeness of men. And being found in appearance as a man, He humbled Himself and became obedient to the point of death, even the death of the cross.”

Philippians 2:5-8
