Figure skater Paige Rydberg delivered a breathtaking performance to the Christian worship song ‘Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace).’
Rydberg wore a simple black bodysuit and took to the ice. She opened the routine gently. As the music grew, so did her performance. She picked up speed and moved across the ice with real control. Her jumps were clean and landed right on cue with the music.
Her spirals were long and fully stretched out, arms wide, body extended. Then came the spins — fast and tight, one after another.
She ended her routine with a graceful pose.
‘Broken Vessels (Amazing Grace)’ is a Hillsong Worship song released in 2014. It draws from the classic hymn ‘Amazing Grace’ and carries a message that God restores broken people with His grace.
It brings so much joy to see people share faith through their talents. May we all strive to lift up the name of Jesus through whatever God has given us.
