In a terrifying incident that unfolded during a church service at a Pennsylvania church, a brave churchgoer tackled an armed attacker, potentially saving the life of the pastor.
A man reportedly approached the pulpit, brandishing a gun and pointing it directly at the pastor, Reverend Glenn Germany, in a moment of pure terror.
Thankfully, in what many are calling a moment of divine intervention, the gun jammed before the attacker could fire. This brief window allowed another churchgoer to spring into action.
Identified later as deacon Clarence McCallister, the churchgoer demonstrated remarkable courage. Despite the shock of the situation, McCallister recounted, “I was shocked. I’ve never seen anything like that in my life.” He tackled the attacker and restrained him until the pastor could disarm him.
Reverend Glenn Germany, the pastor of the church, was understandably shaken but expressed his immense gratitude. Thank God for stopping the gun and enabling Clarence to prevent a potentially fatal situation.
