A stunning cloud shaped formation that looked like a perfect ring appeared around the sun over Mount Washington in New Hampshire, and it left people amazed.

How amazingly God has created everything. When we look up at the sky, we see His handiwork in the clouds, mountains, and sunlight all working together in perfect harmony. This incredible cloud formation reminds us about God’s power and presence.
A worker at the Mount Washington Observatory took a photo of this stunning sight. The picture shows the White Mountains covered in snow, with a big circular cloud wrapped around the sun.
It looks almost unreal, but it’s a natural wonder that happens when the weather conditions line up just right.
Scientists call these formations lenticular clouds. They form over mountains in a way that’s easy to understand.
Picture a stream flowing over rocks. The water hits the rocks and makes waves and ripples as it keeps moving. That’s exactly what happens with air and mountains.
Mount Washington acts like a rock in a stream. When wind blows toward the mountain, it has to go up and over it. If the air has moisture in it, that moisture cools down as it rises. When it cools, it turns into a cloud right over the mountain top.
But the air doesn’t stay there. It wants to keep moving, just like water wants to keep flowing downstream. After the air goes over the mountain, it drops back down on the other side. As it drops, it warms up again.
The warmth makes the cloud evaporate, so you don’t see it stretching out forever. Sometimes this creates several clouds in a row, all downwind from the mountain.
We serve a God who paints the sky with clouds and hangs the mountains in place. Every sunrise, every snowfall, every beautiful cloud reminds us that He made all of this for us to enjoy.
Let us praise Him for His goodness, His care, and the beauty He fills our world with each day.
