A piano teacher stopped people on their tracks with a unique performance of the beloved Christian hymn ‘How Great Thou Art.’

Terry Miles is 59 years old and teaches boogie woogie piano. He sat down at a public piano and started playing ‘How Great Thou Art’ in his own special style.
The hymn was written by Carl Boberg back in 1885. It tells us about God’s amazing creation and how Jesus died for us. But Terry played it with a boogie woogie beat that made it sound completely different.
People walking by stopped to watch him play. You could see the smiles on their faces. They weren’t expecting to hear a hymn like that. Terry shares his piano playing on YouTube where he teaches others how to play this style of music.
‘How Great Thou Art’ is one of those hymns that millions of people love. It helps us worship God when we think about how big and wonderful He is.
The song reminds us to praise Him for everything He made and for sending Jesus to save us.
