Christian comedian Tim Hawkins has audiences roaring with laughter over his take on a women’s clothing store with a strange name.
Tim Hawkins recently shared a clip on social media about a women’s clothing retailer called The Dress Barn. He can’t believe that’s the actual name of the store.
“I noticed there’s this women’s clothing store I see a lot around here – women’s clothing store,” he says. “The actual name of the store is The Dress Barn. The Dress Barn. That’s the best name you could come up with, then? That’s, that’s the one you want to go with? I don’t think I’m ever taking my wife to a place called The Dress Barn.”
The name just doesn’t sound very appealing. Tim points out that calling a women’s clothing store a “barn” isn’t exactly flattering. Most women probably don’t want to shop somewhere that sounds like a farm building.
But Tim doesn’t stop there. He goes on to imagine what the employees might be like inside The Dress Barn. His impressions of how the staff might act will have you doubled over with laughter.
The whole bit is short, but it’s absolutely hilarious. Tim has a gift for taking everyday observations and turning them into comedy gold.
