It was a treat for viewers to watch The Trilogy perform a moving contemporary routine to Christian artist Lauren Daigle’s hit song “You Say” on NBC’s World of Dance.
The three teens from Maplewood, Minnesota chose the Grammy Award-winning song, which speaks to anyone who has battled self-doubt. It is about the inner voices that say we will never be enough, and about finding our true identity and worth in what God says about us.
The dancers brought that message to life on stage. Their graceful, carefully crafted movements mirrored the song’s journey from struggle to assurance.
The performance impressed judge Derek Hough and earned The Trilogy a high enough score to advance to the next round of the competition.
