A man’s expressions while watching his daughter’s birth have become popular online.
Brett Stills, 32, from Jonesboro, Arkansas, was present when his girlfriend, Amanda Roelofs, 30, was in labor for six hours before giving birth to their third child, a girl. Although Brett was in the room, his face showed he might have preferred to be elsewhere.
Brett had watched his son’s birth, but it’s clear witnessing childbirth never gets old. “My second son, or my son, he, I watched that completely,” he said. “It was crazy, too. But this one was just, I guess that’s just something you can’t get used to, you know, seeing a baby born.”
Photos of Brett’s reactions, ranging from shock to joy, have since gone viral after being shared by Amanda. She laughed upon seeing them for the first time. “I didn’t get to see them for a while until, like, we got back to the room later on,” Amanda mentioned. “And I just cracked up and then I, like, zoomed in on his face, and I was just dying laughing.”
