Michael Ledner composed the song ‘You Are My Hiding Place’ in 1952 at the age of 27 when he was going through a trying period in his life when he was separated from his wife.
You are my hiding place

With songs of deliverance
Whenever I am afraid
He composed the song and shared it with several friends, and made a recording of it. After 9 months he shared the song with a group while they were serving at a kibbutz in Israel. The friends took the song with them to California, and Michael was contacted by Maranantha! Music who wished to record “You Are My Hiding Place.”
