An octopus took a diver by the hand and led her straight to a hidden treasure near a reef.
We hear a lot of strange animal stories but this one is different. So when a diver said an octopus took her hand and led her somewhere on purpose, it caught a lot of attention online.
The diver said she had no idea where the octopus was taking her. “It really felt like okay we’re going on a little adventure,” she said. The octopus reached out and held her hand and started leading her in a direction she normally wouldn’t go.
At one point it actually stopped and turned around just to check if she was still following it.
They reached a stone structure that was held up with two metal stakes and she thought that was it. But then the octopus moved to one side and she moved to the other side to see what it wanted to show her. “It was almost like he went tada here it is,” she said.
And there it was. A photo of a man holding his white fluffy dog. A group of divers had built this little memorial for a friend whose father had passed away.
The diver was honest that she really doesn’t know what was going through that octopus’s mind. “I cannot even guess what an octopus is thinking because they have nine brains so who knows,” she said.
Octopuses really are one of God’s most amazing creations. They have nine brains, three hearts, and can change the color and texture of their skin in seconds to blend into almost any surroundings. They can also squeeze their entire body through a gap as small as a coin if it’s soft enough to fit through.
