A twelve year old French bulldog has become an online star for the dramatic way he speaks in public.

We often hide our playful and energetic side when we are out in public. Maybe we worry about what other people will think of us or what they might say about us. So we hold our feelings in even when we really want to be ourselves. But this dog does the exact opposite. He saves his quiet side for home and lets his real character out in public, and that is exactly what makes people smile everywhere he goes.
Sunny lives in Amsterdam with his owners Mary and her husband who are originally from Colombia. They adopted him because they loved Stella the French bulldog from “Modern Family.”
For the first seven years of his life Sunny was a quiet and normal dog. He did not bark much or make any strange noises. Then something changed when he turned eight.
The family was on a road trip through the Alps and stopped in a small town that was packed with tourists. Right there in the middle of the crowd Sunny decided to find his voice. He let out loud yelling sounds that caught everyone’s attention.
“The town was like, it’s really small and it was full of people, full full,” Mary said. “So everyone could hear him making this funny noise.”
Since that day Sunny has not stopped talking. He yells on public buses he yells in his stroller and he really lets loose when they get stuck in traffic. Mary said he loves it when people notice him and he keeps going once he knows he has an audience.
But at home it is a different story. Sunny is calm and relaxed most of the time. “He’s almost all the time like this,” Mary said about his quiet side at home.
