One man sings all harmonies of the beloved song ‘You Raise Me Up.’

Not all songs speak to our hearts. But ‘You Raise Me Up’ is one of those rare ones that does.
Tim Waurick recorded an a cappella version of ‘You Raise Me Up,’ and he did it all with just his own voice. The video starts with him singing solo. Then more layers come in until it becomes a full a cappella choir.
‘You Raise Me Up’ was written by Rolf Lovland and Brendan Graham in 2002. The song has been covered so many times over the years by many renowned artists. Its message is simple. It’s about finding strength in God when we have nothing left in ourselves.
Watching one man build a whole choir out of his own voice is something special. It shows what can happen when we use the gifts God gave us for something good.
This song has touched so many hearts over the years and this version does it again in a fresh way.
Many of us can look back and see our own story written into these words. When we had nothing left in us and no one to lean on, we saw His love for us. He didn’t abandon us. He kept us close to Him and reminded us we were not alone. He gave us the strength to stand when our knees were shaking. He enabled us to walk through storms we thought would take us under. If you’re going through a difficult time, just remember the words of this song. Lean on Him, He will carry you through.
