The well-known Christian comedian Tim Hawkins talks about a news story he read regarding people trying to start up mega churches for atheists who do not believe in God at all. He starts wondering out loud what in the world people would even do at a church like that or what kind of worship songs they would sing to nothingness.

This thought leads him into a hilarious routine where he changes the lyrics to classic Sunday school songs to show how upside down it is to try and have a church without Christ.

He plays his guitar and sings a funny version of the old favorite ‘Jesus Loves the Little Children’ but he switches the words to say “no one loves the little children… no one hears your cry when you die”.

Then he goes right into a spoof of ‘Jesus Loves Me’ and sings “Evolution this I know for Charles Darwin told me so” and jokes about being accidentally alive.

The crowd is laughing up a storm because hearing those hopeless words set to happy little children’s tunes shows exactly how much we need the true hope that only Jesus gives us.

He even spells out a song like the old ‘I Am a C-H-R-I-S-T-I-A-N’ song but changes it to spell out atheist and how they have nothing to give them hope.

Humor is a great way to share something serious without making people tune out or push away. In this video Tim did not just make us laugh but he was sharing an honest truth that makes us realize how broken this world is becoming.

Evil is spreading confusion among so many people today and this video reminds us how much we must hold this world in our daily prayers especially the younger generation and the innocent kids who are growing up surrounded by these false ideas.

“See then that you walk circumspectly, not as fools but as wise, redeeming the time, because the days are evil.” Ephesians 5:15-16 (NKJV)
