Four dads walked onto the stage of America’s Got Talent and completely shocked everyone with their synchronized dance moves.
They didn’t look like performers at first but they ended up delivering one of the most heartwarming family dance auditions you will see this year.
It all started with a sweet phone call from their kids right before the music kicked in and it ended with a massive surprise that had the entire crowd cheering.

The four men are actually best friends who have known each other for over twenty years. They work together in real estate in Gilbert, Arizona and they share ten children between their families.
They told the judges that they used to love dancing when they were teenagers but they completely stopped once they started having kids.
Their own children had never even seen them dance on a stage before. So the only reason they got the courage to audition for America’s Got Talent was because their kids asked them to do it.
The performance started in the absolute sweetest way. Before the dads even took their first step a cute phone call from one of their kids played loud over the speakers saying “Daddy, good luck. You’re going to do great. I love you.” Those sweet words instantly warmed everyone’s hearts in the room and you could see the judges smiling.
Then the music started and these real estate dads dropped their serious faces to show off their hip-hop moves. Right in the middle of the routine the music paused and another voice message played saying “Are you done dancing with your friends? They’re going to be on TV.” It made everyone laugh.
Just before they finished the dance one last message played saying “Simon, be nice to our dads.” That brought a huge wave of laughter from the crowd.
As the music ended the dads turned their phone screen toward the audience and the judges to show that their kids were actually watching them live from home the entire time. I was so touched by that because it shows how much these fathers care about making their kids happy.
The judges had some great things to say about this beautiful display of friendship and family love.
Mel B was smiling the whole time and she told them “That was actually surprisingly really good and at the same time really really cute. You can all really dance.”
Simon Cowell loved the heart behind the act even though he poked a little fun at their age. “It did make me laugh when you first started dancing cuz it was like, you know, when you find some toys you used to play with as kids and you put the batteries back in… but they need a little rusty” Simon said.
He then added “But then as it got going you got better… I think people are going to relate to you and I think you did brilliant.”
Now Howie Mandel gave them a no because he felt the dancing wasn’t a million dollar act. But the other judges backed the fathers and gave them three big yeses to send them to the next round.
So we see how far parents will go just to bring a little bit of happiness to their children. Many of us have ended up doing things we thought we were completely done with at our age but we still did them anyway because our kids asked us to. That is the true beauty of a Christian family. We encourage each other through every stage of life and we choose to live out every single day in pure joy and faith.
