A talented Christian family band performed a breathtaking rendition of the sacred song “Hallelujah Chorus.”
The Hudson Harmony Band is a wonderful Christian family group that started their music journey back in 2013. Over the past 13 years, they have grown into such a gifted family ensemble blending gospel bluegrass with contemporary worship music.
They have released four albums so far, including Hold My Hand and Safe to Shore. They are even known for their joyful yodeling, which always brings a smile to my face!
This time, they traveled all the way to Zermatt, Switzerland to film this performance right by the famous Matterhorn mountain. Seeing them praising God surrounded by His magnificent creation made me catch my breath. It reminded me how vast and glorious our Creator really is.
The song they sang is the world-famous “Hallelujah Chorus” from the sacred masterpiece Messiah. It was composed way back in 1741 by George Frideric Handel with scriptural words taken straight from the King James Bible.
This powerful anthem reminds us that no matter what troubles happen in our world, the earthly kingdom belongs to God and Jesus Christ shall reign forever and ever as King of kings and Lord of lords. What a glorious comfort that is for our hearts!
Listening to their voices ring out across those Swiss mountains felt so powerful. When they hit those soaring high notes declaring “Hallelujah,” I could feel the Holy Spirit moving right through my living room.
